Back in 1980s, there was one artist who traveled around different places in Hong Kong and wrote about his story about the "King of Kowloon". Most of his writings are in Chinese Calligraphy and have very distinct styles. His passion to treat his environment as canvas inspires many artist these days !
八十年代香港街頭出現一系列書法塗鴉，並以九龍皇帝署名，後來啟發無數以書法創作的藝術家，而這雙襪子也是受此啟發而生。
